This page states plainly who operates Capsule, how it is funded, and why none of that can buy or bend a capsule's classification.
Capsule is built by Solis Dev, a technology studio operating under Solis Holdings Group Inc., a company incorporated under the laws of Canada. The platform is run by its founding team. Contributors are members of the public and credentialed experts from around the world; they are not employees, and they author and review content within the standards described in our Methodology.
Capsule currently carries no advertising, runs no analytics or third-party tracking, and does not sell or share personal data. During this period the platform is supported by its parent company and by voluntary donations from people who want to see it exist. Optional paid features are planned for the future, including premium tools and paid Capsule Books, from which authors will earn; these will always be clearly marked and never a condition of reading the open knowledge base.
No funder, donor, advertiser, partner, or contributor can purchase, sponsor, or influence a capsule’s classification. Confidence statuses are determined only by evidence and review, as set out in our Methodology and Non-partisanship policies. Commercial relationships, present or future, are kept entirely separate from how claims are judged, and any paid placement that ever exists on Capsule will be labelled as such and will never alter a truth status.
